India wins silver in rowing men’s eight event

At the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in 2023, the Indian rowing team won a fourth medal. In the fiercely tough men’s eight rowing competition, the Indian team earned a well-deserved silver medal, demonstrating their strength on the world stage.

 

A record time of 5 hours, 43 minutes, and 1 second was achieved by the Indian rowing team, which included Neeraj, Naresh Kalwaniya, Neetish Kumar, Charanjeet Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Punit Kumar, and Ashish. They came in second place on the podium, only behind the tough Chinese team that won the difficult competition’s gold medal, thanks to their outstanding performance. This triumph increases India’s already strong Asian Games medal total in the sport of rowing. Before this accomplishment, the Indian team had already won the men’s pair bronze medal with the help of Babu Lal Yadav and Lekh Ram, and the men’s lightweight double sculls silver medal with the help of Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh. The Indian team at the Asian Games has had a fantastic day thus far, winning all of its medals in the shooting and rowing events so far. In rowing, India has already won two silver medals and a bronze, giving them a total of three medals, whereas in shooting, they have so far won one silver and one bronze which sums up a total of 5 medals.
