Francesco Bagnaia, the reigning MotoGP double world champion, has extended his contract with Ducati for two years until 2026, the Italian company said. The 27-year-old is looking for his third consecutive world title in the 2024 season, which begins this weekend in Qatar.
Bagnaia has always ridden a Ducati since entering the premier category in 2019, first with the Pramac satellite squad and now with the official team.
The Turin-born rider, who attended the VR46 programme built by Italian legend Valentino Rossi, has 18 MotoGP race wins, including seven last season.
