Here on Thursday, in their Indian Premier League encounter against Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderbad pulled off a nerve-racking one-run victory. After deciding to bat, Sunrisers Hyderabad amassed 201/3 thanks to half-centuries from Travis Head (58) and Nitish Reddy (76 not out). After Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed two wickets in the opening over, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal (67) and captain Riyan Parag (77) put together a 133-run partnership in reply. However, the Sunrisers bowlers rallied strongly to seize the victory on the final ball.
Earlier, SRH lost the wickets of Anmolpreet Singh and Abhishek Sharma as they failed to capitalise on the Powerplay.
Head and Reddy, however, salvaged SRH’s innings with 96 runs off 57 deliveries, while Heinrich Klaasen (42 not out of 19) gave the last burst.
