Sumit Antil successfully defended his gold medal in the Men’s Javelin Throw F64 category at the Paris Paralympics with a throw of 70.59 meters, surpassing his own previous Paralympic record at the Stade de France in Paris. He started with a throw of 69.11 meters, breaking his Tokyo 2020 record of 68.55 meters, and then improved it further with a 70.59-meter throw in the next round.
Sri Lanka’s Dulan Kodithuwakku won the silver medal with a throw of 67.03 meters, setting a new World Record in the F44 category.
