Alexander Zverev dominated with his serves, clinching a 6-4, 7-5 victory against Nicolas Jarry to secure his second Italian Open title. This win marks his most significant trophy since his ankle injury two years ago. Zverev started strong with three consecutive aces and nearly flawless serving throughout the match, dropping just one point on his first serve in the first set.
Despite a late challenge from Jarry in the second set, Zverev remained in control. Looking ahead, he’s set to defend his gold medal at the Paris Olympics tennis tournament in late July, to be held at Roland Garros.
