Aditi makes cut narrowly as Diksha misses at Women’s Scottish Open
At the conclusion of the second round of the FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open Presented by Trust Golf, Aditi Ashok narrowly avoided the cut line while Diksha Dagar narrowly missed it. Aditi scored 3-over 147 and finished in T-65th place, while Diksha Dagar’s score of 9-over 153 was too high to make the cut. Despite two late bogeys on the front nine, which was her second nine after starting from the tenth, Aditi managed to make the cut. She started out by missing shots on holes 12 and 14, but birdies on holes 2 and 5 appeared to have saved her before bogeys on holes 7 and 8 put her in trouble. She barely made it to the weekend rounds at 3-over for the first 36 holes. After shooting a 7-over 79, Diksha required a low-par round nevertheless, she missed the cut with a score of 74 (one birdie, two bogeys). On the second day, Hinako Shibuno recorded a round of 68 (-4) to maintain a two-shot lead. The major champion bogeyed the opening hole but quickly recovered with a birdie on the second and added another on the fifth. Shibuno finished with a round of 68 after making three more birdies on the back nine, taking the lead after 36 holes with a total of 12-under par. Maja Stark fired a 65…
