Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime won his seventh ATP title and second of the season with a tough three-set victory over American qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic in Montpellier.
The second-seeded Auger-Aliassime missed two championship points in the second-set tiebreak but eventually secured the win 6-2, 6-7 (7/9), 7-6 (7/2). This marks his second title of 2025, following his triumph in Adelaide.
The 24-year-old Canadian took control early, winning five straight games from 1-2 in the first set. The second set was closely contested, with neither player facing a break point. In the final set, Kovacevic, 26, had one break point opportunity, but Auger-Aliassime held serve for 6-5 before dominating the tiebreak to claim the title.
