On December 5, Delhi will host the eagerly anticipated elections of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI). The International Table Tennis Federation of India is expected to recommend suspending the TTFI at its Annual General Meeting on December 6 in Amman; hence the election notice was released by the returning officer, Justice Vineet Saran. One may recall that the ITTF Executive Committee had suggested that TTFI be suspended since the Committee of Administrators (CoA) had failed to reinstate the suspended Executive Committee by September 15 and to submit the names of the newly elected office bearers by November 16.
