Harry Kane leads Bayern into the Champions League quarterfinals with two goals in a 3-0 victory over Lazio

Bayern Munich defeated Lazio 3-0 to advance to the Champions League quarterfinals, with Harry Kane scoring twice. Kane’s 32nd and 33rd goals for Bayern this season helped the Bavarian powerhouse comeback from losing the first leg of the last 16 encounter 1-0 in Rome to win 3-1 on aggregate after two legs. The victory will relieve pressure on Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel, whose premature exit at the end of the season was announced by the club following the team’s three-game losing streak, including the setback in Rome.
Bayern, which is 10 points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, was facing elimination for the second time in 12 visits at this stage of the Champions League.

Kane broke the deadlock in the 38th minute, after Ciro Immobile came close for Lazio at the opposite end.
