Hsieh Su-wei and Jan Zielinski claimed their second mixed doubles Grand Slam title of the year at Wimbledon, defeating the Mexican pair Santiago Gonzalez and Giuliana Olmos 6-4, 6-2 in a decisive final.
The Taiwanese-Polish duo, who won the Australian Open title in January after a last-minute partnership, dominated their opponents, who were the first Mexican pair to reach the All England Club final. Hsieh and Zielinski broke serve in the opening game and swiftly secured the first set with ease. The dominance continued into the second set, with Hsieh and Zielinski sealing the victory in 76 minutes. The final was rescheduled from Thursday to Sunday due to persistent rain.
This win marked Hsieh’s fifth doubles title at Wimbledon, following her women’s doubles victories in 2013, 2019, 2021, and 2023, bringing her total major doubles titles to nine.
