Ind vs WI: 2nd Test: Match Preview, Where and When to watch

India and the West Indies’ showdown does not seem to be extremely competitive at first glance. However, there are a number of intriguing subplots that appear when the second Test starts today.

One of them is Ishan Kishan. The wicketkeeper-batter played in his maiden long-format Test, which India won by an inning and 141 runs at Roseau, Dominica. He did not have much of an opportunity to bat as India declared when he was not out by one run.

Ishan Kishan, the opening batsman for the Mumbai Indians, was allegedly given carte blanche to express himself with the bat by captain Rohit Sharma.

Ajinkya Rahane, a seasoned batsman, will also be aiming for a massive total. Rahane will want to take advantage of his favourable circumstances with the selectors after being the last player remaining in the World Test Championship final.

Left-handed pacer Jaydev Unadkat, who bowled just nine overs and was the only Indian bowler to go wicketless in the opening Test, is expected to be passed over in favour of left-arm spinner Axar Patel. Due to the bad weather, rain is expected at Port of Spain.
