India has been selected as the host nation for the 2023 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championship. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the International Boxing Association (IBA) and the Boxing Federation of India (BFI). A groundbreaking bout review system will be implemented at the Championships by the BFI and IBA. The competition’s overall prize money would be around INR 19.50 crore ($2.4 million), while gold medalists will receive about INR 81 lakh ($100,000)
