After suffering two heavy defeats in its debut at the Winter Asian Games, the Indian men’s ice hockey team achieved a historic victory by defeating Macao, China 4-2 at the Harbin Ice Hockey Arena. India’s goals came from Tsering Angdus, Tsering Angchuk, Mohd. Ismail, and Mohammad Ali Baba, while Edison Pak Hei Sou scored twice for Macao, China.
With this win, India now holds third place in Group C with three points.
Earlier in the tournament, the debutant team endured significant losses, including a 0-30 defeat against Hong Kong, China, and a 1-19 loss to Turkmenistan.
