Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan smashed the fastest double-century in the history of ODI cricket. He scored a mind-boggling 210 runs off 131 balls. He propelled India to 409 for eight against Bangladesh in the third game of the three match series. While also becoming the youngest to get a double, Kishan overshadowed Virat Kohli’s 91-ball 113 record. Earlier, West Indies’ Chris Gayle had held the previous record with his 138-ball double ton against Zimbabwe in 2015. This was India’s fourth-highest ODI total. 156 of his runs came in the form of sixes and boundaries (10×6, 24×4).
