India’s men’s squash team wins a historic gold in South Korea at the Asian Championships

At the Asian Squash Team Championships, the Indian men’s team won their first-ever gold medal in the sport. In Cheongju, South Korea, they defeated Kuwait. In the championship match, Kuwait was defeated 2-0 by Saurav Ghoshal and Ramit Tandon. Both of these Indian players won their respective matches as well. Ramit defeated Ali Aramezi in the first game, while Saurav recorded victory against Ammar Altamimi in the second game.  Falah Mohammad and Abhay Singh of India didn’t have to toil much to win the championship. This is the Indian Men’s Team’s biggest victory since their gold-medal at Asian Games in 2014. The Indian men’s team bagged seven bronze medals and three silver medals at the Asian Team Squash Championships.
