Jyothi Yarraji clinched gold in Harry Schulting Games

Jyothi Yarraji, the national record holder in the 100m hurdles, recently won a gold medal at the Harry Schulting Games in the Netherlands. It was her first outdoor competition of the season, and she did exceptionally well, clocking 12.87 seconds. This victory puts her in a good position to qualify for the Paris Olympics, despite not meeting the qualifying standard yet. Currently ranked 26th in the World Athletics Road to Paris list, she’s aiming for one of the 15 spots available through world rankings. Forty athletes will compete in the women’s 100m hurdles in Paris, with 25 qualifying through entry standards and 15 through world ranking.
