Indian table tennis star ManikaBatra climbed three places to reach a career-high number 35 in the ITTF World Rankings. The 27-year-old had an exceptional performance at the Asian Cup in November, earning India its first-ever medal. She defeated world No. 5 Hina Hayata of Japan and world No. 7 Chen Xingtong of China to win a historic bronze medal in Bangkok. She will be active in the Asian qualifiers for the World Championships in Doha later this week. She will also be attending the WTT Contender later this month in Doha before appearing at WTT Star Contender in Goa next month.
