Scottie Scheffler, the winner of the Masters, completed his fourth victory of the year on Monday, winning the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head by a margin of three shots. Play was halted on Sunday after a two and a half hour storm and rain delay, leaving Scheffler with a five-stroke lead with three holes remaining.
After making par on the 16th and 17th holes, the world number one player breezed on the final hole, making his first bogey since a double bogey on the tournament’s third round.
Sahith Theegala finished solo in second place on 16 after making a 28-foot birdie putt, his seventh top-10 performance of the year. With his tenth PGA Tour victory, Scheffler makes history by being the first player to win four times in a five-tournament span since Tiger Woods in 2007–08.
