World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler delivered a flawless, bogey-free final round to comfortably secure the Hero World Challenge title at the Albany course. This marked his ninth victory of the year, earning him $1 million in prize money. Scheffler also became only the third player, after tournament host Tiger Woods (2006 & 2007) and Viktor Hovland (2021 & 2022), to successfully defend the prestigious trophy. While Thomas started strong and kept up with Scheffler early on, missed birdie opportunities and four bogeys dashed his hopes of ending his winless streak, leaving him with a third-place finish at 270.
