Unstoppable Scottie Scheffler wins second Augusta Masters title in three years

More time was spent staring at his feet by Scottie Scheffler than at any of the white leaderboards at Augusta National, all of which displayed the guy that the whole world was watching—a repeat Masters champion and the unchallenged greatest player in golf.

He would rather remain in his small universe with only one person. Right now in the game, no one is around him.

With a margin of victory not seen since Tiger Woods’ heyday, Scheffler leads the global rankings. This year, he has earned over 15 million USD and has not had a round go over par in nine competitions. And when he put on that green jacket on Sunday, it was the best piece of proof yet.

With stunning strokes around the turn, Scheffler took the lead, and he continued to pour it on as his opponents faded away with errors, closing with a 4-under 68 to win by four shots and win his second Masters in three years.
