British Pole vault record for Molly Caudery

At the global Athletics Continental Tour Bronze meeting in Toulouse, Britain’s Molly Caudery set a new British record in the women’s pole vault and achieved the highest jump of the year. The 24-year-old broke the previous British record of 4.90 meters, set by Tokyo Games bronze medalist Holly Bradshaw, with a jump of 4.92 meters. This was the highest women’s pole vault clearance since 2021.

Caudery had already secured her win with an early jump of 4.61 meters, but she continued despite the wet weather. Marie-Julie Bonnin of France finished second with a jump of 4.51 meters. Earlier in June, Caudery won bronze at the European Championships in Rome with a 4.73 meter jump. In February, she had set her previous best of 4.86 meters in Rouen.
