The Telangana Football Association (TFA) has reached a big milestone by being approved to host the FIFA World Cup qualifying round between India and Kuwait. Dr. K.T. Mahi, Chairman of TFA, declared that the match will take place on June 6th, this year in Hyderabad. Dr. Mahi and TFA secretary Mr. G.P. Palguna had good meetings with Telangana’s Chief Minister, Mr. Revanth Reddy, who has a football background. Their conversations revolved around the logistical and financial aspects of holding such a famous event. Following the discussions, the Chief Minister indicated his approval for the occasion, paving the way for the historic encounter. The State Government confirmed its support for the plan during a meeting with Dr. Mahi, Mr. Palguna, Mr. Shahnawaz Qasim IPS, OSD, and Mr. Ajith Reddy.
